Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton with Deacon P. Louis Montoya officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church with the Rev. Glenn Jones as celebrant. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Garcia was born Feb. 24, 1933, in Salado to Gomisindo M. and Candida Sandoval Padilla. She was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Celina Sintas of Spearman, Texas, Stella Garcia of Farwell and Delina McKnight of Edgewood; five sons, Johnny Garcia of Clayton, Alfonso Garcia and Steven Garcia, both of Amarillo, Texas, Daniel Garcia of Farwell and Larry Garcia of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Ebell of Roy.
