He was an active minister of Gospel Assembly churches. David was bilingual and ministered to many Spanish congregations.
He worked as a rig welder and was currently working with Universal Boiler Works. David also had worked as a general contractor.
Playing baseball was his favorite pastime as a boy.
He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. David truly enjoyed his family, friends and acquaintances.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harley Albert Gadbury, Jr.
David is survived by his wife, Wanda, of Carlsbad; son, David Gadbury, Jr of Carlsbad, NM; step-son, Michael Collins of Keswick, Canada; and step-daughter, Layla Scott of Haverhill, MA; grandchildren: Jesstin Gadbury, Lauren Dana, Megan Dana, Noah Scott, Nathan Collins and Hannah Collins; his mother, Elwanda Gadbury of Carlsbad, NM; his brothers: Eddie Gadbury (Martha) of Carlsbad, NM; Don Gadbury (Sharon) of Bakersfield, CA; Tim Gadbury (Paula) of Houston, TX; and Dan Gadbury (Toni) of Ft. Worth, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers were: David, Michael, and Shawn Gadbury, Norman Rackers, Albert and Mark Moisa.
