She was born December 1, 1925 in Middletown, OH the daughter of the late Earl & Mary (Thompson) Wright. She was a member of the TOPS Club. She attended East Park Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse L. Jones; and her son, Terry R. Jones. Survivors include her children, Patty Barnett, Diane Holcomb, Linda Hoover, Steven Jones, and Jesse Jones, Jr., 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Flora Richardson, Eileen Tibbs, Betty Taulbee; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Ohio. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton.
