Myrthus Austin:

Lewiston, Cache County – Funeral will be Saturday for Myrthus Lee Austin, 23, Lewiston. He was killed instantly Tuesday when struck in the head by a one-ton trailing bucket on the arm of a crane at the Amalgamated Sugar Co., Lewiston.

Born May 14, 1942, Salmon, Idaho, a son of Myrthus and Lucille Lee Austin. Married Gayle Waddoups March 6, 1964, Logan Temple. Attended school at Salmon and Utah State University. Served in Central British Mission.

Survivors: widow; daughter, Tina Rachel; brothers, sisters, Mrs. Wydell (Carol) Jeffery, Ely, Nev.; Rosalie and Joan, both Ogden; John, Ron, Jimmy, all Salmon.

Funeral Saturday 1 p.m., Lewiston First Ward chapel. Friends call at chapel Friday after 6 p.m., Saturday before services. Burial Lewiston Cemetery.
