Lucille Appling, a longtime resident of Seguin and the Guadalupe County area, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the age of 82. Graveside services were scheduled for Friday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m. at the Appling Cemetery, off of Highway 90 West near Luling. Goetz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Appling and Nolan Neill Appling, both of Seguin; six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
