Emma was the daughter of the late Lula Jewett and John Edward Belcher. She married Paul Ashley Johnson July 19, 1918 in Watertown New York. To this union were two daughters, Ruby Catherine Johnson, and Annette Mae Johnson. Before her death she underwent surgery in January of 1967.
