Graveside services for Lottie Armstrong Allen will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Toomsuba Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Allen, 89, of Toomsuba, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006 at Aldersgate Personal Care. She was a former deputy sheriff and the director of Meridian Servicemen Center. She was also a member of First Baptist Church of Meridian.
Survivors include her children, Dr. June Pegues and her husband, Jim, of Hattiesburg, Margaret Jane Allen of Toomsuba, Millard Allen Jr. and his wife, Terry, of Toomsuba; grandchildren, DeAnna Morgan Phariss, Jayna Morgan Robinson, Susan Pegues, J. Allen Pegues, Dr. Grant R. Allen and Margaret Joie Allen Brown; seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard R. Allen Sr. and her daughter, Mildred A. Morgan.
The family requests memorials be made to Hope Village for Children.
