Rev. G. M. Booten, aged 77 years, died of pneumonia Friday at his home, 1701 Avenue C, after an illness of two weeks. Mr. Booten was pastor of the Free Methodist Church and came to Council Bluffs about a year ago.

He is survived by a wife, four sons and two daughters. The sons are L.A. Booten, Pacific Junction; George, Frank and Burt Booten of this city. The daughters are Mrs. Kitty Reynolds of this city and Mrs. Della Richards of Pacific Junction. Mr. Booten was an old soldier, a member of the Thirteenth Iowa Regiment.

The funeral will be held Sunday fornoon at 10:00 o'clock at the Free Methodist Church on Avenue B & 16th Street. Burial will take place in Martin Cemetery in Mills County.
