Funeral services for Vera Vestin Clark, 74, were held today (Tuesday) at 10:30am in the Pentecostal Holiness Church. She died at her home here on Sunday morning.
Born in Gainsville, Missouri to Joseph Henry Clark and Sallie Priscilla (Holman) Clark, she came to what is now Wagoner County in 1904 and was a member of the Wagoner Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Pastor Melvin Garrison officiated at the services. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of the Hersman Funeral Home in Wagoner.
Pallbearers were John Cocke, Jess Cochran, Edgar Cannon, Roy McCuan, Leonard Holloway and Fred Combites.
Vera is survived by one sister, Mrs Lucy Hefley of Wagoner.
