CUPERTINO, Calif. — Ranee Rich Pugmire Carlsen, 81, passed away at her home. She was born on August 17, 1926, in St. Charles, Idaho, and was the seventh child of William Ray and Elva Lauvon Rich Pugmire.
Ranee lived most of her adult life in California, where she worked and retired from Varian after 34 years.
Ranee is survived by her lifetime friend, Jerri Mazzurco; two brothers, Vaughn Pugmire of Montpelier, Idaho, and Larry Pugmire of West Valley, Utah. She was preceded in death by her four sisters, Lapreal Kirkham, Melba Arnell, Leah Kunz, Ireta Webb, and three brothers, Eldon Pugmire, Fayon Pugmire and Don Pugmire.
Aunt Ranee will be missed greatly by her 28 nieces and nephews and several greatnieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the LDS Church in St. Charles, Idaho on Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at 1 p.m. There will be a viewing prior to the service from noon to 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the St. Charles City Cemetery.
