Jacob Biggs, 96, of Rural Route Middletown, died at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital at 10 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Biggs was the uncle of Mrs. Willard Perkins, of Route 5, Campbellsville.

The decendent was born at Campbellsville, Ky., June 9, 1871, the son of John and Nancy Breeding Biggs.

A retired farmer and dairyman, Biggs formerly lived in Michigan.

He was married to Alma Porter, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lillian Van Wormer, of Port Huron, and one brother, Butler, of Greenview. There are two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Fricke Funeral Home with the Rev. John I. Osborn officiating.

Burial was in Sweetwater, Ill.
