Gary was drafted into the US Army.
After arriving in Vietnam Gary was assigned to C Company, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry, 25th Infantry
Division, USARV. C and D Company were on Route 248 and in the vicinity of Quoi Xuah Hamlet when they were ambushed by hostile forces. Gary died as a result of multiple fragmentation wounds to the body from a hostile explosive device.
Survived by his parents, Gerald A and Noreen B Frazier and his siblings, Kanet, Susan, Bruce, Roger and Dennis of Mink Creek Road, Pocatello, Idaho.
