Ben was a Pharmacist. My father Robert Huntington Sr. (Ben's nephew) took me along to visit Ben at the Pharmacy at Coos Bay when I was age 6 (1959). Ben was thrilled to have visitors and immediately took a break to invite us to lunch at the restaurant next door. I recall he ordered the lunch special but with lots of substitutions. Ben was a lively conversationalist. Dad said Ben had served an elected office at the state level. Ben had a sister Sadie who also was a Pharmacist and, according to family legend, the first female Pharmacist to be licensed in Oregon.
March 2019 I received an email from Linda Smiley (49801668) saying "I'm a descendant of the Huntington family, doing genealogy work. Benjamin Huntington, Jr.'s parents are my 2nd Great Grandparents.
