Tuscola--
Richard Raymond Grun, 51, died Saturday in a river accident near Junction.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lawn Baptist Church with the Rev. Price Mathieson and the Rev. Steve Parker officiating. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery near Goldsboro, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home.
Mr. Grun was born in Ovalo and had lived in Tuscola, Robert Lee and Winters, returning to Tuscola in 1978. He was employed by General Dynamics (now Lockheed) and was a member of Lawn Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge in Lawn, Key City Channelmasters and Winters Squares Square Dance Club.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Grun of Tuscola; one son, Otis Grun of Tuscola; two daughters, Dr. Julia Davis of El Paso and Dr. Tanya Grun of Corpus Christi; and three brothers, Russell Grun of Moro, Edward Grun of Dayton, Tenn., and Freddie Grun of Houston.
