THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, page 4B:
'Robert Hugh Musick, 70, 3180-19th NW, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1998, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Millsap officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He was born Feb. 15, 1928, in Sugar Hill, Texas to James and Birdie Williams Musick. He married Ara Mae Vaughn, May 6, 1950, in Paris. She preceded him in death. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the Army and was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Surviving are two daughters, Frances Bielss and husband Tim of Bonham and Karen Hall of Arlington; a son, Robert Musick and wife Sue of Boaz, Ala.; a brother, Curtis Musick of Bowie; sisters, Martha Maxfield and Velma Wallace, both of Paris; grandchildren, Daniel Truss, Joseph Truss, Jesica Henson, Cynthia Truss, Mary Wilson, Laura and James Bielss, Christopher Musick, Holly Musick, Damon Hall, Rebecca Mead and husband Robert, and Michael Hall; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother. Pallbearers will be Jerry Patterson Jr., Robert Chad Patterson, Randall Patterson, James Wallace, William Ray Musick Jr. and Larry Musick.'
