Odessa Marie Beauchamp was born September 12,1912 in Bowie County Texas to Milton and Rosa Lena Alexander. Shortly afer marrying, Odessa and her husband Clyde took her sister Myrtle and moved to Throckmorton Texas. In 1944 they moved to Fort Worth Texas. She was employed by Leonard dept store in the drug department where she worked for many years. She loved people and enjoyed working with the public. She was a very caring person. Her husband and her shared their home with so many people. Her sister Myrtle, her parents lived with her in their later years, Clyde's sister Irene and his aunt May also lived with her. If family was in need of a place to stay their home was always opened. She was a member of the Church of Christ. If she was unable to attend church services she always looked forward to visit from the members that Sunday afternoon. She will be missed by all who knew her. Odessa was preceded in death by two children, Rosamary and Hubert.
