Mrs. Balwin was born July 8, 1910, in Montgomery County, to Charles and Christina Gooding Burks. She was married to Clarence Baldwin, who preceded her in death in 1974.
Survivors include five sons, Stephen and Ronald Norman of Crawfordsville, Edward and Richard Norman of Indianapolis and Harry Norman of California; a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Wilson of Michigan; four sisters, Mrs. Victor (Ruth) Link of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Vera Bell of Clarks Hill, Mrs. Opal Miles of New Richmond and Mrs. Margaret Baker of Wallace; 18 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services are set for 11 am Friday in Burkhart Funeral Home with the Rev. Victor Link officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
