Margaret Victoria (Maggie) Adams was born 20 May 1885 to Henry Jackson Lewis and Sarah M Cain Lewis in Cullman County, Alabama.

Maggie's mother died when she was 9 years old. Her mother's dress caught fire from the fireplace and she ran. Her son caught her and rolled her down and put out the flames but she had inhaled too much smoke and she died.

Maggie married Laborn Elijah Adams 17 October when she was 18 in Blount County, Alabama.

Maggie was a mother and housewife. She was the mother of ten children; Gussie Lewis Adams, Louie Adams, Aldie Eugene Adams, Ellis Denton Adams, Dennis Mack Donel Adams. Opha Corine Adams Fountain Dendy, Cardeilla Minella Lena Adams Beshears , Reba Jo Vereda Adams Brown Jackson, James Rector Adams, Cornelia Pearl Adams Teague Stricklin, and Mary Lou Adams.

Maggie and Laborn lived in Blount County, Alabama. She was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Brooksville, Blount County, Alabama where most of her relatives were members.

Maggie died 7 March 1977 at age 91, in Oneonta, Blount County, Alabama. She is buried at Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blount County, Alabama.
