Blanche told her first born son Georgie "George" Oliver "Dickie Joe" "Joe" Garman that his father was Houston Rhodes. She told him this in 1943. His father was most likely a man named Houston Joe Rhodes. They were never married. Houston was in the area so he was most likely the one to be his father. Blanche Avis Garman married William "Glen" Glen Blake. They were married on April 4, 1939 in Eminence, Shannon County, Missouri. Blanche and Glen had 3 sons and 1 daughter. William Ronnie "Ronnie" Blake & Morris Dean Blake & Larry Gene Blake & Janet Ann Blake. Blanche and Glen were married until her death in 1960. Blanche's birth place maybe Summerville, Texas County, Missouri. I found both names as her birth place. Her son said he thought his mother was born in Oklahoma. She lived their for awhile.
