There will be a visitation from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at the Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton.
At the conclusion of the visitation, there will be a short funeral service conducted by Jeremiah Theiss.
Burial will be in the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton, Illinois.
She was born April 6, 1936, in Benton, the daughter of Leon and Anna (Kuzan) Wheat.
She married Bob Aaron on June 5, 1954, and he survives. Patt was a member of the Beta Sigma Phil sorority for years.
She was of the Baptist faith. Patt was a volunteer at the TCT as a prayer partner. She worked as a playground supervisor in the Benton school system for years
She is survived by husband, Bob Aaron of Benton; daughter, SaLinda McCommons and husband, Steve, of Benton; son, Brad Aaron and wife, Robin, of Benton; grandchildren, Erin Theiss and husband, Jeremiah, of Creve Couer, Mo., Jeremy McCommons and wife, Jessica, of Spotsylvania, Va., Casey McCommons and wife, Erin, of Ina, and Preston, Amanda and Becca Aaron of Benton; great-grandchildren, Logan and Landon Theiss, Caden McCommons, and Laney and Ethan McCommons; and one brother, Frank Jamrozek and wife, Teresa, of Henderson, Nev.
Mrs. Aaron was preceded in death by her father, Leon Wheat, and by her stepfather and mother, Stan and Anna Jamrozek.
