Edna M. Balsbaugh, 79, of 520 State Route 897 East, Newmanstown, died of natural causes Wednesday at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Mrs. Balsbaugh was a member of Heidelberg Church of the Brethren, Reistville. Born in Jackson Township, Lebanon County, she was the daughter of the late Miles and Lizzie Smith Bollinger. She was married to John H. Balsbaugh. Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, John H. Jr. of Lebanon, James R. of Myerstown, Jesse L. of Newmanstown and Philip P. of Schaefferstown; a daughter, Linda M., married to Melvin S. Fisher of Lebanon; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kathryn Brown of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Bollinger.
