DODGEVILLE
Lloyd J. Amacher, age 48 of Dodgeville, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Upland Hills Health following a brief illness. Lloyd was born on June 27, 1960 in Okinawa to Karl and Michiyo (Tabata) Wittmann and he graduated from San Leandro High School in 1978. He enjoyed researching his family's history and watching all New York sports teams. Lloyd had a big heart and cared about others and it showed in the time he spent with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; his step-father, Donald LeRoy Amacher; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Lloyd is survived by his mother, Michiyo Amacher of Dodgeville; his brother, LeRoy Amacher of Dodgeville; two half brothers, James Wittmann and Erik Wittmann, both of North Carolina; five aunts, Patricia Bullock of Salisbury, N.C., Patricia Aniszewski of Rockford, Ill., Michie Sakai, Suzuyo Tabata and Michiko Takeyama all of Japan; an uncle, Robert Wittmann of North Carolina; as well as cousins and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the LULLOFF-PETERSON-HOUCK FUNERAL HOME, Dodgeville. Father Paul Ugo Arinze will officiate with burial in East Side Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
