Herta I. Bledsoe, of Checotah, passed from this life March 22, 2009 at the age of 79. She was born in Berlin, Germany and moved to Checotah from England in 1995. She attended the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Krichke. She is survived by her husband, Delbert Bledsoe of Checotah and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Herta will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.. at the Hampton Memorial Chapel, Checotah, with Rev. Harry Dodd officiating. Casket bearers are Lloyd Murry, Leon Murray, Tyler Murray, Kevin Murray, Danial Hamm, and Roger Jennings. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hampton Mortuary, Checotah 918-473-6821.
