Former citizen of Santa Anna, Tx. died Sunday Morning in Wichita Falls of a heart attack.
Richard "Dick" West was a machinist at Sheppard Field, Wichita Falls. He came here from Lee County in 1921 and made this his home in 1921until moving to Wichita Falls eighteen month ago. He was married to Miss Dorris Gilmore on Oct 4, 1922, who is the surviving widow, with two children, John Sidney West of San Marcos and Dixie Ann West still at home. Both Children ate graduates of Santa Anna High School. Also, survived by three sisters, Mrs A. J. Spsrks, of Dime Box, Tx., Mrs Chas Evans of Santa Anna, Tx., and Mrs E. M. Thompson of San Antonio, Tx.
Pallbearers: John Guthrie, Sid Blanton, Jim Harris, Roy Stockard, Norval Wylie, and J. C. Morris. Flower girls: Misses Wilma Jo Spencer, Jo Ann Baker, Ruth Morris, Jean Hefner, Allie Garrett, Kathryn Bagby, and Mary Joyce Hill.
Services by Pastor Bowman assisted b Rev. S. R. Smith interment in Santa Anna Cemetery.
