Nora Alma Emory was the daughter of Rebecca E. Hibbs from a previous relationship. She was first married to William Ross in 1895, then, James Frederick Miller in 1908, and in 1920, married to Grover Emory.

Of note: Nora's grandmother, Mildred Ann "Anna" Turner Hibbs - remarried to Abraham Wood, who was her step-father John Perry Wood's father.

Mrs. Nora Emery
Mrs. Nora Emery, 67 years old, 673 Lafayette Avenue, died Friday at St. Anthony's Hospital. She is survived by the husband, Grover; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Dooley, Indianapolis; Mrs. Malissa Infange, Terre Haute, and Mrs. Frances Scully, California, and three brothers; James, Fred and Clarence, all of Woods, Calif. The body was taken to the Gillis Memorial Chapel where services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, with burial in the Woodlawn cemetery.
