Annie Dera Wulfjen Winn was born on May 16, 1890, at the old 96 Ranch, and died December 3, 1988.
Dera married Everett Henry Winn, Sr. on May 6, 1914, in the First Methodist Church of Colorado City. Mr. Winn passed away April 29, 1953. Dera had been a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1900. Her parents, James Durham and Mary Jane Cocreham Wulfjen, were early day pioneers of Mitchell County.
Survivors include one son, Francis A. Winn of Estancia, New Mexico; four granddaughters, Elaine Marricle of Amarillo, Texas, Patricia Parker and Carol Ann Vann, both of Colorado City, and Tracy Sedillo of Estancia, New Mexico; two great-grandchildren, Kim and Adam Parker of Colorado City; six nieces and nephews, Ben Wallis of Tucson, Arizona, James Wulfjen of Colorado City, Robert Earl Wulfjen of Richardson, Texas, Vista Harrell of Colorado City, Louise Geisenberger of Natches, Mississippi, and Ina Jo Stott of Tucson, Arizona.
One son, Everett Winn, Jr. preceded her in death.
