Timothy Fletcher Francis, 63, passed away October 20, 2004 at his home in Wagoner, OK. Born January 12, 1941 in Warrensburg, MO. Preceded in death by his father, Harrison Sam and brother, Robert Mark. Survived by his mother, Lyneve R. of Wagoner; wife, Carol Jean of Wagoner; son, Michael Todd and wife, Tanda of Tulsa; daughter, Kelly Ann and husband, Kerry Way of Stillwater; 3 grandchildren, Mark Alexander Way of Stillwater, Meredith Lee Francis and Kirk Evan Francis of Tulsa. Graduated from Jonesboro High School, Atlanta, GA, 1959; Bachelor's degree, Fort Hays State University, Hays, KS, 1967; Master's Degree in Business Administration, Wichita State University, 1969; Veteran of United States Marine Corps. Retired from a 28 year career in hospital administration in 1998. An avid and professional Flight Instructor with approximately 8,000 hours of flight time; competency and training of his students were a hallmark of his career in aviation. He considered a significant number of his current and former students to be close friends. An endless booster for general aviation, he was instrumental in the construction of a new runway and other development at the Wagoner Airport. The pride and joy of his life were his children and grandchildren. "He's flying high now!" Funeral service will be graveside in Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 25, 2004.
