"Mrs. Harry Adams
Amelia S. Adams, 93, of 2014 Main St., Rothsville, died Thursday evening at 9:40 p.m. at the Duke Convalescent Home, where she had been a guest for two weeks. She had been ill for eight years. Born in Millport, Warwick Township, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Annie Seltzer Fry. She was the widow of Harry Y. Adams, who died in 1948. Until her death she was the oldest member of the Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Rothsville. She was confirmed at the church in 1900. Until her retirement in 1946, she was a garment worker at the Thompson Garment Factory in Brownstown. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Marguerite Adams, Rothsville, and Beulah, wife of Walter Bair, Lancaster; two sons, Woodrow W. Adams, Rothsville, and Harry F. Adams, Akron; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and a brother, Phares S. Fry, Ephrata."
