Connie R. Stephens, 55, of 1660 Dolphin Court, Naples, Fla., formerly of rural Gridley and Bloomington and Normal, died at 4:15 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 4, 1999) in Naples.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. The Rev. Jim Smiley will officiate. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the memorial Home.
Memorials may be made to Special Olympics or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Mrs. Stephens was born Feb. 10, 1944 in Bloomington, the daughter of Ernest and Louise McConkey Kingdon. She married Charles Paul Brewster on July 3, 1963 in Bloomington. He survives. She later married Gary Stephens in 1978 in Hudson. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Bloomington; fiancee, William Hart, Naples; two daughters, Dawn (Bryan) Brewster-Keith, Stanford; Christine (Jeffrey) Brewster-Smith, rural Petersburg; two sons, Charles (Lisa) Brewster, Bloomington; Casey (Jaye) Brewster, Greensburg, Ind.; two sisters, Patsy (Bill) Hopper, Bloomington; Beverly (Ken) Emberton, Bloomington; and one brother, Larry (Ann) Kingdon, Bloomington.
Other survivors include nine grandchildren, Samantha, Michael and Jacob Brewster, Bloomington; Syvanna, Brent, Hayden-Keith, Stanford; Whitney Smith, Petersburg; Alexa and Olivia Brewster, Greensburg, Ind.
Her father preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and former employee of GE in Bloomington.
