Henry was first married to Frances (Marie Francoise) Baron.
She was the daughter of Pierre Baron and Marie Marguerite Gibausset of Baton Rouge,LA.

Henry and Frances had five children:
1. Cecile
2. Isaure(Isorah)
3. William Roger
4. Regine(Regina)
5. Frank

After Frances' death in 1858, Henry married Winifred Laura Pipes (1843-1927),daughter of James Windsor Pipes(1814-1860) and Susan McArthur (1815-?). Winifred was a widow and had first been married to a Mr. Cain.

Henry and Winifred had 8 children.

2. Henry "Harry" Pipes Jones 1866-1930
3. Winifred May Jones 1868-1964 m Dr. John Thomas
4. Albert McArthur Jones 1870-1936
5. Ralph Gray Jones 1872-1940

8. Saidee Sue Jones 1883-1916

Winifred is buried in the Jones family plot with Henry but has no marker per her request.

Because of his familiarity with conditions in the North,and especially in New York, Henry became a member of the staff of General Bragg in secret service during the War Between the States. Source: Woodville Republican July 19, 1924.

Henry was employed as a boot and shoe dealer in Baton Rouge, LA.
