My beloved younger sister.
She was a very sweet girl and was born with Down Syndrome (trisomy 21). She graduated from high school and worked as a housekeeper in local hospitals for most of her adult life. Our parents didn't "baby" her and she was expected to work for a living the same as everyone else.
After our mother died, Christine lived semi-independently across the street from my older sister for the last 10 years of her life.
