Dr FRANK HAROLD GREEN (b 5/24/1908 - d: 3/23/1999) worked in family medicine for 52 years in Rushville, IN. retiring in 1985. He also served as Rush County public health officer from 1950 to 1996. He was a charter member, delegate and past president of the American Academyof Family Practice and received the Les Bibler Award from the organization in 1981. Dr. Green was a delegate to the American Medical Association, served 14 years on the state board of Blue Shield and was a member of the advisory board of the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Home, Knightstown. He was a member of the board of directors of First Indiana Bank. Dr. Green was a 50-year member of Rushville Rotary Club and a 58-year member of the Columbia Club. He also was a member of Rushville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, Elks Club 1307 and Beta Theta Pi fraternity. A 1932 graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine, he served on the dean's council and was past president of the alumni association.
