Ashford, Mildred, 97, Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sat. March 1, 2008. She was an active member of Christ The King Catholic Church and the last surviving charter member. She was also involved with The Daughters of Isabella for over 59 years. Rosary 7pm, Tues. March 4, Funeral Mass 11am, Wed. March 5, 2008 both at Christ The King Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husband Floyd, daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and Fred Daniels, granddaughter Sharon Daniels, grandsons Mark and Daryl Ashford, great-grand daughter Kaylee Anderson. one brother Ralph Kerns and sisters Alice White and Gertrude McClure. Survived by sons Raymond Ashford of Sedgwick, KS, Richard Ashford (Kay) Joplin, MO, daughters Beverly Ashford of Wichita, KS, Marlene Crabtree (Pat) of Clearwater, KS, Elaine Mulcahy (Gary) of St. Paul, MN, Rogene Ashford of Tulsa, OK, Kathy Huschka (Martin), Connie Ashford both of KS, 33 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and anticipating three more in 2008 and 11 great-great grandchildren.
