HELEN L. FELLURE

Helen L. Fellure , 78, of Route 1, Oxford, died at 6:05 p.m. Thursday June 11, 1992, Home Hospital, Lafayette, following an illness of 18 months. She had lived in Oxford since 1966.
Born December 14, 1913, to parents John and Anna (LaMaster) Muller, in Camp Grove, Illinois, she grew up in Aurora, SD, and graduated from Brookings High School near Aurora in 1932.
She married Floyd Fellure in Crown Point on December 27, 1932. They owned and operated Felllure's Market in Swanington, until 1955, as they moved the store to Oxford operating under the Fellure's IGS name.
Mrs. Fellure was a member of the Oxford Methodist Church ans the United Methodist Women.
She had been associated with the Dan Patch Quilt Project of the Lions Club since the inception and many of the stitches in the quilt were hers. She enjoyed nature and birdwatching and she grew test roses for Jackson & Perkins Company.
Surviving with her husband are two sons, Lawrence Fellure and Kenneth Fellure of Oxford, and a daughter Mrs. Wayne (Sharon) Cassel of Fowler. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m.Sunday in the Hahn Chapel, the Rev. Mary Alys Braddish Hummel officiating; internment Justus Cemetery.
