One of Adams county's eldest natives, Mrs. Mary Lucinda Brough, 96, widow of Levi Brough, died Thursday, January 26, at 6 p.m. at the home of her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Brough, York Springs R. 1, of a complication of diseases. She was bedfast for one week.
Mrs. Brough was a daughter of the late Stephen and Barbara (Guise) Weidner and was a member of the Chestnut Grove Lutheran church, Sunday school and Busy Workers' society.
Surviving are a son, Edward E. and a brother, Herman Weidner, Gettysburg.
Funeral services Monday at 1:30 p.m. From the Pittenturf funeral home, York Springs, with further services at the Chestnut Grove church conducted by the Revs. Paul Gladfelter and Raymond Weider. Interment in the church cemetery.
