Adam C Fraley, 83, Rt 5, Ashland, died at 1 a.m. today at his resident, following an extended illness. Mr. Fraley was a son of the late Britten A. and Betty Rucker Fraley. He was a retired maintenance employee of Kentucky Highway Department. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cynthia Ann Fraley; four sons, Farris, William John, Rudolph and James Fraley, all of Ashland; five daughters, Mrs. Freda Salyers of Grayson, Mrs. Nannie Adkins of Argillite, Mrs. Virginia Slone of Sciotoville, Ohio, Mrs. Alberta McDowell of Ceredo, WV and Ms. Thelma Jean Fraley of Ashland; a brother, Trace Fraley of Gallipolis, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Williams of Portsmouth, Ohio; 24 grandchildren; 28 great - grandchildren and a great great grandchild. The body is at the Carman Funeral home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
