To James Gillen, Humboldt Tennessee, deliver to me at Roganville, State of Texas, about the 1st day of September, 1900 or as soon thereafter as convenient, one set Italian Marble Grave Stones, including stone base 2 feet high, 9 inches wide, and 2 inches thick. Footstone one-third the height and one-third the width of Headstone. Headstone to be engraved as follows;
Design G31 Samuel R. son of W. J. & A. F.
Emblem No. 31 Adams born April 8, 1892
Epitaph No. 16 Died September 13, 1898
With such extensions or abbreviations as may be customary, and on the delivery of the above work, per value received, I promise to pay, James Gillen or order nine ($9.00) dollars.
