Mr. David Ray Bolton, age 69, resident Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, March 7 at residence.

Funeral services for Mr. Bolton conducted in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Bro. Mark Jamison, Bro. Dwight Lyles and Rick Points officiating.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Bernie and Lora Baker Bolton and the husband of Dora Mae Curtis Bolton. He worked for Stauffer/Globe Plant as a gunman and for Knitt Mill as a thread machinist.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Billy (Pam) Bolton, Barbara (Andrew E.) Workman, both of Mt. Pleasant and James (Roberta) Bolton of Columbia; grandchildren: Robert Wayne Bolton and Amber Dawn Workman, both of Mt. Pleasant, David Robert Bolton and Kevin Ray Bolton, both of Columbia; brothers: J.C. Bolton, Ed Bolton and Bernie Lee Bolton, all of Mt. Pleasant and Walter "Pee Wee" Bolton of Summertown.

He was preceded in death by a brother: James A. Bolton.

Pallbearers: Walter Bolton Jr., David Robert Bolton, Kevin Bolton, Jim Bolton Jr., Malloy Cummins, Tony Bolton, Larry Ragsdale and Mike Bolton.

Honorary pallbearers: Hospice of the Highland Rim, past employees of Stauffer/Globe Plant, Dr. Gibran Naddy and the Cancer Center of Maury Regional Medical Center
