Lula Harvell was born on 20 Jun 1877 in Tennessee. Her parents were Wilson D. "Dall" Harvell and Margaret Loretta Potter Harvell. The Bellews and Harvells moved westward, settling in Roseville, Arkansas for a few years. Lula' parents died in Arkansas, when Lula was in her young teens. Her aunt and uncle, Richard Bellew and Mary Jane Potter Bellew, took the young Harvell children with them to Oklahoma, and raised them as their own. Lula married Unknown Blue/Ballew in 1899 and in the 1900 Census taken on June 10 and 11, Lula Blue, widowed with one child, was living in the household of her sister, John and Veta/Vida Holeman.
