Funeral services for Mrs. Henry T. Seiderman, 81, who died Saturday morning about 8 o'clock at her home following a two-week illness, were held Monday morning, Feb. 14, in St. Joseph's Catholic church. The Rev. J. Franchi conducted the last rites at nine O'clock.
A native of Texas, she was born Sept. 25, 1862. She met her husband at Lavernia, the community where her parents lived, and they were married Jan. 21, 1883 in New Braunfels by a Catholic priest. Mr. Seiderman was a blacksmith and for 59 years he followed this trade over various sections of Texas. The family lived at Stanton, Pecos, Toyah, and Galveston. She had lived in Pecos County for the past 18 years.∼Year of death 1943 on headstone is in error. Per TXDC she died 1944.
