Husband of Clyde Madeline McKittrick,father of John Claude McKittrick and son of John Emra McKittrick Senior.. He was an engineer with the state of Oklahoma. One day while out surveying he stepped into a hole on a grassy prairie...nothing in sight. He discovered a basement with box upon box of hand made glassware. He brought 4 of the glasses back with him. They have beautiful black stems. Aunt Clyde always said it was just like a man not to get 4 matching ones but 2 of l and l each of other kinds. He went back but could never again find that hole in the ground. I have always wondered what happened to those people. Some woman would have been very proud of her stemmed glassware. Who was she?
