Johns wife's maiden name was Quinn. His name is John Flick and his son's full name is John Quinn Flick, therefore they don't have the traditional "same" first and middle names to make them Sr. and Jr. as we know it. I believe that his nickname was "Senior" and they placed "Sen." on his markerstone because of that.
