WILLAMETTE (Special) ---
Katherine (Kate) M. Boettcher, 2331 17th Avenue, and a resident of Willamette and Oregon City for the last 36 years, died Friday at an Oregon City rest home.
She was born September 20, 1874 in Germany and after coming to this country became a citizen. She was a life member of the Zion Lutheran Church and had lived at McMinnville before coming to this area.
Survivors include three sons, Walter F., Vancouver, WA.; August Newell, Ia.; William, Albert Lee, Minn.; six daughters, Mrs. Fred(Hannah) Klingbell, Albert Lee, Minn.; Mrs. Jess (Evelena) Shannon, Willamette; Mrs. Emmitt (Hulda) Logsdon, Mrs. Cliff (Martha) Robins and Mrs. Gilbert (Laura) Woodward, all of West Linn; Mrs. Sylvia Sties, Portland; 25 gramdchildren and 28 gr grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Oregon City at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, August 24, with Holman-Hankins-Rilance Funeral Home, Oregon City in charge. Rev. E. G. Wuest will officiate and vault internment will be in the Mt. View Cemetery.
