Wabash - Anna Monelle Clupper, 99, Ind. 124, died Saturday evening in the Mason Health Care Center, Warsaw.

She was born in LaFontaine to the Late Elmer Ellsworth and Josephine (Sparks) Sutton. She married Merlin F. Clupper on Feb. 28, 1920, in LaFontaine. He died Nov.9, 1954.

Mrs. Clupper was a homemaker and was retired from Southwood Elementary School in Wabash County. She was also a member of LaFontaine Christian Church, the Linlawn Home Economics Club and the Frances Slocum Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include one son, Donald Gene (Joanna), Winter Haven, Fla.; a daughter, Josephine (Mrs. Warren) Walmer, Warsaw, five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be Wednesday morning in the LaFontaine Christian Church, LaFontaine, with the Rev. Rick Smalling officiating. Burial will be in LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery.
