Bruce W. Conger, age 19, died accidentally early Saturday morning at his home near Avon. He was a 1969 graduate of Avon High School and attended Vincennes University. He was employed with his father in the Conger Finishing Service. He attended the Church of Christ, Plainfield.
He was the son of James and Ruth Long Conger; brother of James C., Julie, Jean, and Amy. He was also the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Long, Plainfield and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne H. Conger, Clermont. He was the great-grandson of Mrs. Daisy Breedlove, Clermont, and Mrs. Maude Conger, Indianapolis.
Services were Monday afternoon from the Plainfield Church of Christ with Aude McKee officiating. Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
