This is Julia "Kitty" Priscilla Nichols Chase. She was born Feb 1852 in Lake County, Illinois, daughter of John Howard Nichols and Lucy Caroline Sears Nichols. She married John Spencer Chase 16 Sep 1874. They had 4 children, Fred Howard (1876-1950), John "Earl" (1880-1973), Carl Irving (1883-1970), and May H. Chase (b. 1885-?). From census records it appears Julia and John divorced some time between 1900 and 1910 after which she moved from Berlin, Green Lake, Wisconsin to Colorado Springs, Colorado and John moved to Neosho, Kansas.....Information provided by FAG contributor Wanda Smith
