ANNIE DELORES BRUNT, Age 66, of Bangor, MI passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 surrounded by family at home. In the town of Leflore, MS, Annie D. Parker came forth on Oct. 16, 1939 from the blessed union of Elbert Lee Parker, Sr. and Annie D. Parker. She was the third child of thirteen children. She later married Edward Eugene Brunt on Feb. 2, 1961. Annie was employed at Covert Public Schools as a Paraprofessional and retired after more than 25 years of service in Oct., 2003. She was a very active member of Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church in Covert, MI. Surviving are three daughters, Adeline Brunt-Starks of Bangor; Angela (Mike) Dawson of South Haven; Patricia (Brad Brazelton) Brunt of Bangor; one son, Dennis (Yolanda) Brunt of Bangor; seven grandsons, George Starks, Jr.; Devon Brunt; Jabari Brazelton; Daquan Brunt; Darian Currie, Jr.; Dennivan Brunt and Dirk Brunt; one granddaughter, Sinned Brunt; one great granddaughter, Kimber Starks; her father, Elbert L. Parker, Sr. of Snellville, GA; four brothers, Thelton (Alberta) Parker of Bangor; Pastor Elbert (Brenda) Parker, Jr. of Chicago, IL; John Parker of Kalamazoo; David (Jennifer White) Parker of Bangor; seven sisters, Clotee (Jeff) Saulsbury of Chicago, IL; Fannie (John) Trimuel of Chicago, IL; Darnell Parker of Bangor; Blanche (Greg) Tishler of Leesburg, FL; Kate Frances (James) Cunningham of Lansing; Bobbie (Van) Ollie of Dalton, IL; Dorothy (Ken) Jarrett of Snellville, GA and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie D. Parker in 1994; her husband, Edward E. Brunt in 1996 and her brother, Robert L. Parker, Sr. in 1983. A Wake will be held on Thursday from 12 Noon until 1:00 P.M. at Gospel Tabernacle Baptist Church in Covert where services will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Henry Lee Allen, Sr. officiating.
