Beloved Aunt, treasured Spirit, A woman who made us laugh, and was always smiling. She loved to dance, and had the soul of a child. A free spirit, loved by everyone who had the good fortune of coming in contact with her. Had she been born in a different generation, she would have been called a true hippie-chick flower child. Her love for life was remarkable, and she was dancing to the godfather of soul, James Brown, until nearly her 9th decade. Making kale soup, taking in stray dogs, and always ready to take on all comers, verbally or physically, we will miss her.

Olga joins her beloved Rod and Paula, and is sent with love by her family.

She leaves behind her sister, Evelyn Medeiros Bauer and brother-in-law Robert. She loved and was loved by her nephew Michael Bauer, wife Jeanne, and children Kaitlyn Bauer Little (Michael), Michelle, John, and Molly. She is forever cherished and missed by her niece Susan Bauer O'Toole-Evans and husband Chuck, and children Christopher, Connor, and Melissa. Her nephew Steven Bauer and his partner Anne Marie send her love. Niece Janet Bauer Bissonnette and husband Gary and their children Amy, Peter (Amy Lynn), Alissa, Elizabeth (Cody), Tom, John Shiang-Ling "JJ", Nicole, Rachel, Jimmy, Joey, and Julia will also miss her deeply, forever - as will her eight "greats".

Our family would like to thank the very special people who cared for Tia: Her dear friends and Red Hats at St. Francis Manor, Drs. Griffin and Reynolds and the 5th floor staff of Indian River Memorial Hospital, Dr. Malone and the amazing rehab team at Royal Palm Convalescent Center, and finally, all of you who gave her tender loving care these final months at Rosewood Manor, with VNA Hospice support.

Olga has flown to her beloved Cape Cod and joins Rod at the National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
