Susan Ann McGarvey entered into rest on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at her home in Malvern.
She was born on April 27, 1952, in Clearfield to the late Howard and Sally McGarvey Jr.
Susan graduated from Penn State University in 1974.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection.
She was employed as a client manager in the insurance field.
She is survived by a brother, Howard M. "Trip" McGarvey III; and sisters, Anne Quivey, Kimberly McGarvey and Sarah Parker; and their families.
Life celebration services will be held on Thursday, March 19, at noon by Pastor Joan Trout, with a fellowship from 10 a.m. to noon at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 181 Sharp Lane, Exton.
Interment will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
A remembrance luncheon will be held at 2 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be made to the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection for the benefit of Good Works, 181 Sharp Lane, Exton, PA 19341; or to Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research, 110 Old Possum Hollow Road, Newark, DE 19711.
