Patricia A. Johnson, 67, of Monroe, died at 10 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family and friends.
Friends may call 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. She will lie instate at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael's Catholic Church with service at 11 a.m. The Rev. William Fisher, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroe, will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Born October 5, 1941 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Charles and Rose (Cebina) Malik.
She was an instructional assistant and Kids Club Caregiver with Monroe Public Schools until retiring in 2005. She was known for her wonderful heart and caring attitude toward children.
Pat was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church where she served on the Altar Society and was a member of the Parish Council.
She was a 1959 Graduate of Monroe High School.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and will fondly be remembered as "Grandma Tootsie".
Surviving are her children Valerie (Ron) Ruff of Carmel, IN, Clayton "Chip" Johnson, III of Monroe, Todd (Crista) Johnson of Temperance, Vicky (Steve) Loveland of Monroe; nine grandchildren, Christopher Ruff, Elise Ruff, Olivia Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Isabella Johnson, Jack Johnson, Alex Johnson, Logan Loveland, Landon Loveland; two brothers, Tom (Alice) Malik of Monroe, Chuck (Janet) Malik of Santa Maria, CA; a sister Theresa Raymond of Monroe; her lifelong friend Rita Jarrait and a special Aunt Vicky Vallade.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
